I live in Baltimore, so I know what those Freddie G. riots were like. Freddie was a thug criminal with a long wrap sheet. I am not saying that the Baltimore City police are angels, but not all of them are bad or corrupt. If I am pulled over by an officer, I am polite and do what they ask me to do. I don't run, try and steal their gun or taser. I don't reach into their car and try to pull them out of the car. Like you pointed out Don, there are real cases of police brutality, why doesn't the media pick those cases to show and tell? Freddie G. was a terrible case to highlight police brutality. Our City States Attorney, Marlyn Mosbsy, actually brought charges against 5 of the arresting officers. All were found not guilty and it destroyed her career, along with some illegal things she did while in office. We all know that Baltimore has been Democratic run for a century. Guess whose family ran this city back in 60's? Pelosi, enough said. In the past 15 years things have gone from bad to worse in a once beautiful city. The liberal "soft on crime" policy has killed Baltimore.

Don you bring up good points, why do rioters destroy their own neighborhoods?

There were many out of town rioters and agitators here during the Freddie G riots.

The city area lost food stores, clothing stores, and their drug stores. Maybe if the rioters would go to the upper class areas and the politicians were affected in a negative way, they would actually do something to stop the violence.

Robin, you must see quite a bit of excitement living in Baltimore. I think the media purposefully picks the Freddie Gray type of cases, where many (mostly Whites) will side with the police. They want people divided. Thanks!

Qualified Immunity and Sovereign Immunity are the real culprits. LE in many situations are literally 'above the law'. Historically the whistleblowers pay the price for exposing state crimes: Drake, Binney, Kiriakou, Winner, many others. Snowden would be behind bars if he hadn't chosen to NOT follow whistleblower protocol like the others, he knew where that would lead. These are just examples at the National/Federal level. It's shits and giggles all the way down.

No real "free" country would allow QI, SI, plea bargaining, illegal surveillance, evidence suppression, witness suppression, etc. The list goes on, and on.

You originally wrote this ten years ago, it's only gotten worse.

The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. - Orwell

I agree with you, Don. All excellent points. However, I do see cops tolerate such abuse from people just for asking for their drivers' license and proof of insurance. These people go off the deep end in fits of rage. Just give the information required and be on your way. Some cops are decent people and do not deserve to be treated with such abuse.

It all could be a publicity stunt to show the "good" side of law enforcement, but as you noted, its corrupt from the cops all the way up the ladder.

I see convicted felons get a slap on the wrist and out of a jail sentence on a $750 bond. How is that justice?

Example - the dirtbag who stole my vehicle in 1993 was supposed to pay me restitution of about $800. I saw maybe $60 of that. His PO was a black woman and she made darn sure he got away with abiding by his obligations which were court ordered. This guy is still out there committing crimes - I checked him out on the Circuit Court website. How is this fair to me, to the rest of us law abiding citizens?

One of my friends absolutely hates cops but she, and her kids, did very stupid things to create problems.

For myself, I could have gotten numerous DUIs and they let me off, no citation, no ticket, nothing. There was no suggestion on my part to offer them "benefits", if you know what I mean. I would have taken my licks.

After watching Serpico back in the 70s, I knew how corrupt it was and its gotten far worse. I don't have to like any LE, but I sure as hec ain't gonna create any issues. Best to smile, be nice, be polite, be respectful as much as you can. Most folks out there think the world owes them.

Milwaukee has turned into an absolute shithole with all the crimes being committed. Everyone is moving away, and I am on that list. Democrat run city, Democrat run State.

Good points, Fran. I've seen those videos as well. The citizen is right- we are under no obligation to present ID unless a crime is suspected. But their attitude is often belligerent, even when the cop is being patient. I would guess that many people, especially if they've dealt with an aggressive cop before, have a real chip on their shoulder. I know for myself, I try everything I can to avoid them. Thanks.

I've seen enough videos as well where I don't think the citizen is required to show their ID, then when they refuse, they are ticketed with being "disorderly". How is that so? What is the charge? Why am I being pulled over? We can't even question the legitimacy of their stop. I do not back the Men In Blue. My taxes covers their wages. Disrespect on both sides.

I used to work with a fella that was so darn NICE to everybody, even jerks. I asked him once, How do you tolerate that, whats your secret? He said that he was giving them the middle finger behind his back. Words I'll never forget.

Great article Donald! Thank you!

The next to last paragraph hits the bullseye - Rule by Divide and Conquer (and Scapegoating).

I think it is finally coming to an end. To explain why would turn a comment into an article (a self-imposed No, No Rule, for me at Substack).

So I'll just add that their rule by Divide and Conquer (and Scapegoating) won't come to an end because they are going to stop doing it. No. It will end because there will be no one and nothing left for them to do it to. They're literally going to have to go to another planet and hope it's inhabited by a people willing to be exploited, and in possession of something the hostile elite considers worth stealing.

Short of that...

I believe our country has gone past the point of no return and God has removed His hand from this nation and judgment is upon us. Things will continue to grow worse and worse. And all those who believe God has given our country a “2nd chance” or “a reprieve” are sadly mistaken! Without genuine repentance as a nation , as Nineveh did, in the days of Jonah, there will be no relenting. Scripture tells us that Gods wrath will be poured out on this unbelieving world before Jesus’ 2nd coming……well, I believe the time is growing near! Thanks DJ!

Don , now that I've completed the preliminaries digitally & verification-wise I forgot what I was going to type to ya. So in brief you're piece on Riots=Controlled Op's is succinctly clearly on point. I wished I had written it mainly because I come to some of the same "well researched conclusions on the "glaring topic " . That manages to remain an "illusive butterfly of a topic" to interest the main stream or the alternative "net~news minders" for that matter. Go stuff man and I dig yer writing style. Gene

I wonder the same things about mass shooters. Why shoot up churches and schools and crowds at concerts if you're mad at the government? Wouldn't a person who was really angry at the gov go shooting up where their anger was stoked up from?

It makes no sense.

Oh but then again, when you find out the truth about those shootings it makes perfect sense.

"The abuse of power on the part of law enforcement officers at all levels, all over this nation, is the issue."

Once again Donald, the choir harmonizes with your directive. Capitol crimes and crimes against humanity without personal responsibility or culpability in the apartheid from hell scenes playing out across time and turf in this country over and over and those who are supposed to "protect" us from these abuses are the most culpable of all. When the Executive crosses those lines of both Legislative and Judiciary (Judge, Jury and executioner) and everybody takes a sudden interest in their shoes, (if I can't see the abuse, maybe the abusers won't see me mentality), then you know that the "spoils" system that has worked for spoiled children is coming home to roost, and not in a good way.

If the police would confine the scope of their duties to equally protecting the rights of all the people, I don't think we would even be discussing these issues, but they are only the advance guard for a much more invasive and insidious system. When Jesus rebuked the Lawyers (Luke 11:55) for taking away the key to knowledge, it is sometimes a right to remain silent and a right to protest, and those protesting can be beaten to death, and remaining silent on the same issues does not necessarily mean you are secure. A group that protects "group think special interest" has no interest in protecting the general rights of the people at large.

And I should reiterate that the police are under no obligation to protect the public, Clyde. That's what the Supreme Court has ruled several times in recent years. So if they aren't there to protect us, what exactly is their purpose? Thanks.

I can only surmise that they are there to protect their racketeering and human trafficking activities. Like the 17th century "Impost gangs" they are there to compel slavery to the local oligarch's "concerns". The flip flopping nature of Psychology/Reverse Psychology two tiered/double standards works for those whose sole purpose is to Steal, Kill and Destroy. When the confusion has become so thick that there are no distinguishable differences between the "believers" and "deceivers" then like any house divided, this nation has become unstable in all its ways. Although I do not fear the police, I also actively avoid them because I do not want the to face the temptation of wanting to render to them according to their words and works. I have patiently tolerated their wasting my time to avoid wasting their eternity. There is nothing Satan enjoys more than a "civil" war of brother against brother. There is nothing I would enjoy more than for sinners to repent and believe the gospel truth and enjoin in the ways of peace, but I am mindful that is is Satan's turf for now, and peace is not on his agenda.
