Another great article with great info and insights. I will say though, that there still are a handful of us business owners that are customer-oriented, treat our employees fairly and compensate them with good wages and overtime--which they want-and go the extra mile. Over 50% of our business is by referral and we are currently booked 8 months out. We make a decent living, not a killing. We strive to be the best and treat others as we would want to be treated. God has blessed us and he has provided. If we truly serve God, it will show in all aspects of our lives, including how we treat customers and employees. Good mom and pops are harder to find, but they are still out there.
