At this point, we don't have to worry about Term Limits. The United States does not look like it has four more months, let alone four more years. And at this point, who cares? Since 1988, we would have been better of being run by the Three Stooges and the Pep Boys. At least we would be spared Elon Musk's Cybertrucks.
Our Lady of Fatima guaranteed that various nations will be annihilated. Bye Bye Miss American Pie.
Since the First Golf War, we have increasingly immersed ourselves in a quagmire started by the Zionist State of Israel after the 1967 War. (Hint, once again, the wrong side won.) SuperTrump just upped the Anty by bombing Iran to give NuttyYahoo an exit strategy- an off ramp to get back on the Geopolitical Feeder Road to the WW3 Superhighway.
And Putin is giving Kiev the squeeze. Perfect timing.
This time, I despair of any saner heads prevailing, and meanwhile the Sheeple are being given a hypersonic spin job by the lamestream and certain alternative media hangouts.
Based on the voting patterns and nonsensical political garbage that regularly spews forth from the mouth of a certain brainwashed member of my family (and to which I’ve been a non-consenting witness off and on for 50+ years), I might say: Don’t underestimate the ability of participants in the two-party paradigm to actually vote these horrible incumbents back in to office each and every time. My sampling size is small here, yes, but when the Intellectual faculty is absent, as it clearly is in so many in this grand materialist age (where the Convid psyop revealed just how truly empty-headed people are), the choice of the brainwashed is just a simple “D” or “R.” At least for said family member, it really is that simple, and even more so if the running rep. is an incumbent. As a lifelong D, she is effectively star-struck in her love for her party reps, where what they possess for her, and always have, is effectively “celebrity authority,” earned via their regular appearances in Congress and on TV political talks shows.
I’ve witnessed the woman actually shed tears watching two political events: Obama’s second inauguration (remember when, upon exiting the podium, BO turned and looked back at the Washington Mall with all the glorious honor, dignity, and grace befitting our “first black president”? – gotta love the fake drama and sentiment to the point of crying about it and saying, “never in my lifetime could I have imagined such a thing”) and Ted Kennedy’s memorial (when tears were literally streaming down her face). The rest of the time, she’ll walk away from a TV political event featuring one of her beloved Ds as if she had just touched the hem of the diamond-studded jacket of Elvis or something. Operant conditioning of the Pavlovian variety and truly frightening to behold, esp. in an actual member of my family.
Great, colorful description of how the Sheeple react to politics, Rob. Although there has obviously been a history of vote fraud in this country, and 2020 was perhaps the clearest example of this, I am leaning more and more into believing they don't really need to rig the elections. And I don't want to believe that, because it's more comforting to think that they aren't counting the votes honestly. Thanks.
Great last line, "In reality, as always happens in our elections, no average American won." How sad for our country. When was the last time Americans won in an election? In my lifetime, John F. Kennedy. I was very young during his tenure, reading and listening to people wiser than myself, he did care about the people in this country. Look what "they" did to him. Americans need to push term limits and voter ID. Get these manipulating representatives out of office! I can tell you I dislike almost all of Congress and I really dislike my Congressman! What choices do we have? Look at the choices we had for President in 2024? Look at the choices we have for Congress? How are the citizens of our country suppose to play the game, when the rules are rigged against us? The only way I see to play the game is for all Americans to stand together arm in arm, no matter what political party you support and scream we have had enough! Start playing straight with us; balance our budget, cut spending, reform immigration, bring our troops home, reform tax laws, voter ID, and term limits. Fix our country or get the hell out of the way!
Hi Donald, re term limits, i said the same thing to my husband. Have not heard a word about them from anyone!!! There is NO way things can turn around at this disgusting stage of the game without them…..that, or another revolution. All the best
That's for sure, but it is never put up to a public referendum, so where is that democracy that they love to spout about? No where to be found here.
Those public serpents only represent themselves, and they are no more likely to pass terms limits than they are to pass pay reductions. Sadly for DOGE...
What are the odds that Musk's 3rd party will ever make it past a tweet on X?
That was another one of your great articles that is definitely more applicable today than then. Proving that nothing in politics changes, so you proved that for sure!

Get ready for a very bumpy ride ahead.

I agree, Robin. Thanks!

Laura, I think if you put it up to a public referendum, that 90% or more of the public would be in favor of Term Limits. Thanks.

Don's time machine strikes again!
Thanks, DefCon!
