Let the 1%'s argue with St. Peter when they meet him at the Gate. They won't have a decent argument to save their backsides. These people are selfish and hard-core sinners who sold their souls for a couple of bucks to the Devil, one that is so entrenched in many people's lives. The kind folks I've met don't have much and will give you the shirt off their backs, no questions asked.

Happy New Year to you, your family and your followers. I only wish the Best! Thank you for the last year of such great articles!

The 1% will never get to the gate to talk to St Peter. St Michael the Archangel will skewer them with his flaming sword and hurl them after the devils into the pit of hell.

Survival of the Richest. (Great book) The $175 billion Biden has given to Ukraine so far, would support every man, woman and child in the USA. No hunger, no homeless.

I appreciate that, Liber8or. There is more than enough extra money, which the top tier of the One Percent dismiss as pocket change, to assure that no one is homeless or hungry. That was the message of Huey Long's Share our Wealth movement. Thanks!

I reckon $175 Billion divvied up amoung the general population would be spent as follows: 20% on Fentanol. 15% at Fast Food. 15% on lotto Tickets. 15% at the Gentlemens Club. 15% at the Box Office. 15% at the stadium, and 5% on clothing and the essentials of life.

I've sat on the fence for too long. Almost every essay I've read since first discovering you on Lew Rockwell.com has been edifying. This essay inspired me to learn more. I just placed an order with Amazon for 3 of your books.

Happy New Year Donald, to you and your family. A question: When Amazon offers a book for 99 cents on Kindle, is that an agreement between your publisher and Amazon? When a publisher offers one of their author's book for sale on Amazon, does that automatically give them the right to later sell the book cheap on Kindle? I've noticed that Amazon first pushes the hardcover, and then much later these expensive books go for cheap on Kindle.

Hi Kris. The publisher can get involved and do that, but I believe that most of the time it is just Amazon doing it on their own. Thanks and Happy New Year to you as well!

Happy New year to ye, Kris. Although I do not think 2025 will be a happy year to most, at least not after March 25th. This one is going to be a dousie. And it is just the first of four. The smoke should clear by 2031.

Leviticus Chapter 25 is undoubtedly older than two thousand years. Although that wheel could in fact "flatten the curve", It still requires obedience to the one who made it. I call it a fools hope that it is still attainable, but only God knows what he is doing, and the rest of us may contribute to the work, but glory and honor and power belong to God, and those who think differently will find out the hard way.

Needless to say, the Forgiveness of the Student Debt is a debacle. But since everything is subsidized and the banks are getting bailed out on a regular basis thanks to the Bottomless Trouble Assets Relief Act, those same students will foot the bill through increased taxes rather than direct payments. So, at the end of the day, 'twas just a massive shell game.

If the government really cared about the poor and oppressed, they might try doling out all those abandoned properties to people looking to make sustainable households. But, nah, 'tis obvious what the government wants is dysfunctional, depressed, and otherwise oppressed useless eaters, that they can bully, maim, and otherwise berate for fun and profit.

As for Huey Long, he might have been the last politician with a good heart- dumb as the day is long, but with a good heart.

At the end of the day, socialism is a dumb concept. Socialists just love being generous with other people's money. That money had to come from somewhere, by hook or crook. Creative taxation is another word, of course, for theft. Done, of course, under cover of law.

As for Huey Long's sidekick, Fr Charles Coughlin- he should have known better. While I can excuse Huey for lionizing our "Founding Fathers", I can't say the same for Fr Coughlin giving grist for the mill of Sr George Washington and Mother Abraham Lincoln, both of which I had a long long time ago in a Parochial School Far Far away.

At any rate, the Biden Administration is proof enough that all that history I was taught in school, from Plymouth Rock to Paul Revere's Horsey Ride, is all fake and ghey. The American Revolution was allegedly fought over taxes on tea and parchment. Where are the Revolutionaries today, when we are taxed from January through mid-August and then some more if the apple tree has a good year.

They call it an income tax. But wages are not income any more than a steak is income after one has paid 10 bucks for it. Wages are barter. Duh?

Where are the Lawyers when you need 'em?
