My favorite read of yours so far DJ! A lot of truth and always appreciate your transparency! Jesus was telling us that money would be a god to many people. He tells us that money is the ROOT of all kinds of evil! It’d scare me to death to be rich monetarily after reading the Scriptures. Those numbers about people being Christian are way bloated. Jesus said if we love Him we will obey Him and James, Jesus half-brother tells us that we can’t just be hearers of the Word, but doers. If this was truly the case our country would look way, way different. By the way, James didn’t believe who Jesus claimed to be until he saw Jesus resurrected from the dead. He then ended up giving his life for his faith!! All these other religions books that they trust in don’t have any prophecies at all in them. The Bible is the only book that has correctly told of future events to a tee, already fulfilling 100’s regarding Jesus 1st coming that’s how we can trust everything in it, especially that He is coming again, and I believe sooner than later!! And denominations are all man made. There is to be one church, all based on Scripture alone. It is meant to be read literally with some allegory thrown in by God…common sense should guide that part! Like I’ve mentioned before DJ, I believe God is using you to reach people in these last days to warn people of the truth of all the deception going on in the world. My favorite verses in the Bible are the first miracle by Jesus and then when he said the words, “Don’t you know you’re gods.” Those words alone should wipe out everyone’s fear of the dark forces.
I believe we have been in WWIII for a while. It is good vs evil. Maybe the people of the world vs their governments? The elites of the world all seem to be worshipping the devil. Maybe the elites are being blackmailed by the devil?
Praise the church and open the wallet. If you were to become a Mormon, they REQUIRE you to give them 10% of your income! I've looked at some of their structures, and to me, it looks like gargoyles plastered all over. I used to work with a Mormon and he tried to get me to join. Nicest person ever, but I said, No Way! The Church of Scientology is even worse and they go after members who try and leave or who say anything truthful about them. Talk about Cults!
One "church" is no different than the other. Where does it say you have to attend a church to pray to God? If God hears your every prayer?
I was forced to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days, plus the parochial school. I never witnessed such hypocrisy in my life. We were not a family of rich people at all. My parents made sure we all "gave" in those little white envelopes while we struggled. The Catholic Church never offered to help our family.
The priests would stand before the pulpit pounding on it that the church and school would close down if we didn't give more. The nuns needed more, the priest needed a new car every year!
Where has those million of dollars gone? To pay off families of those they have sexually abused plus the vacations and mansions they and their lovers own.
People can do what they want, believe what they want. I pray to God directly and my prayers are answered, most not right away. God does things in His own time.

That was a really good write up Donald, but I did find one line that I'm pretty sure you wouldn't find in the written word. "How do we reconcile him saying that the rich will be unable to enter Heaven?" He explains the difficulty of those who are rich, but Abraham,Issac, Jacob, Job, Joseph of Arimathaea, So with God, all things are possible, but as the Apostle Paul admonished, "
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God." (Acts 4:22)
