One other event will indeed happen and finally cause the sleepy masses to pay attention. That is Digital cash and the conversion thereof. It is not a favorable conversation either - a tactical shut up, or it will be worse. Expect a type of Empirical Credit hooked up to a social score.
This is when, I believe, the long-awaited wake-up will begin. Civil unrest will finally start, and government tyranny will be undeniable even to the most government-loving stooge.
The fundamental objective of digital cash is taxation. The government hates black markets. The government shrills will promote the invisible money as a good thing; it stops the drug trade and tax scammers. But, in reality, it will ensure every penny of tax will be siphoned off to the empire immediately, too. The control aspect comes next; maybe you had enough beer at the bar. The digital tab is keeping count.
I expect this newly digitized money to be implemented sooner than later; it will appear suddenly, just like FDR's executive order confiscating gold. Oh, and that might happen again, also. So start your preparation.
Love your work but disagree when you write “……but porn is part of freedom”. You obviously haven't read Dr. E Michael Jones. Porn is NOT freedom but instead is used by the so-called elites as a way to control us. “A man in control of his passions, tho he be a slave, is free. A man controlled by his passions, tho he be free, is a slave “—— St Augustine, i think. Do check out Libido Dominandi for the whole story. Thank you.
I understand what you're saying, Laura. But I think something like porn would be hard to regulate. It's a slippery slope, as we found in the 1960s when trying to define obscenity. But I certainly agree the adult entertainment world is run by the sleaziest people imaginable. Thanks.
I wonder how this digital cash is going to work out for those wanting to purchase drugs/prostitutes off of the streets. Or say you attend a gun show and want to make a purchase. Today I just witnessed the installation of about 15 charging stations outside of a gas station. Can one imagine standing in 40 below weather waiting for your vehicle to be recharged? Just another way to force us into these horrible 15 minute cities. I can see them regulating how much electricity we get to use in our homes too. The elites and politicians will never, ever be restricted. I will never forget George Bush Sr.'s comment about the New World Order when he said "and we will be successful". 1984 was not just a movie about our future, its here.

The digital currency should wake everyone up. Thanks, Phil!

I listened to Tucker and Adam Corolla...and all I could think of was Tucker must head read your book(s)!
Lol. I used to think that a lot, too, KTon. His producer at Fox had "Survival of the Richest." Thanks!
